How The Great Riverside Pi Off Works
Step 1: Apply
Submit your pie concept, ingredient list, and category selection via our online application.
Step 2: Bake
Bake your pie at home or in a commercial kitchen. All pies must arrive fully prepared.
Step 3: Check In
Contestant load-in is from 10:00 AM – 11:30 PM. At the Riverside Arts Market, Jacksonville FL, located at 715 Riverside Ave., on Saturday, March 14th 2026.
Step 4: Judging & Public Tasting
• Judges evaluate pies based on flavor, texture, presentation, and creativity.
• Guests participate in donation-based People’s Choice voting.
Step 5: Awards
Winners are announced at 2:30 PM.
Categories include:
• Best in Show
• Best Crust
• Most Creative Pie
• Best Use of Local Ingredients
• People’s Choice
Step 6: Pass It Forward
